GEORGE, Utah-Colton White ran for 101 yards and a score on four carries and the Richfield Wildcats hammered Dixie 62-20 Friday in the season opener for both squads at Walt Brooks Stadium in non-region play. Cord White (5/7, 117 yards, 2 TD’s) and Shane Pearson (4 rec, 112 yards, 2 TD’s) as well as Trey Yardley (8 car, 53 yards, TD; 25-yarrd interception return for a score) also led the Wildcats who ran for 358 yards and averaged just under 13 yards per play on the night. Brygunn Soderquist (5 rec, 71 yards, 2 TD’s) led the Flyers in the loss.
GUNNISON, Utah-Brady Cornia and Paxton Nicolodemos each threw touchdown passes and the Rich Rebels got past Gunnison Valley 21-14 in non-region football play Friday. Kyle Keith threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score in the loss for the Bulldogs.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Trexon Madsen, Chaetten Osborne, Trevor Mann, Seth Burningham, Korver Hafen and Drake Johansen each ran for scores and the North Sanpete Hawks pounded Cottonwood 57-0 Friday in non-region football play. Luke Lee added two touchdown passes in victory for the Hawks.
DELTA, Utah-Bodey Shurtz ran for three scores and the Delta Rabbits got past Juab 29-26 in non-region football play Friday. Easton Stefanoff also ran for a score in victory for the Rabbits. Price Armstrong threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score in defeat for the Wasps.
MANTI, Utah-Coy Doman threw two touchdown passes and the Pine View Panthers waxed Manti 44-28 Friday in non-region football play. Kingston Wright threw three touchdown passes and Stetson Thomson added a scoring run in the loss for the Templars.
OGDEN, Utah-Houston Mickelsen threw a touchdown pass and ran for two more scores as the North Sevier Wolves outlasted Ben Lomond 41-33 in non-region football play Friday. DaShawn Gordan ran for a pair of scores in the loss for the Scots.
OVERTON, Nev.-The Moapa Valley (Nev.) Pirates outlasted Beaver 27-21 Friday in non-region football play. Davis Carter threw a touchdown pass and ran for two more scores in the loss for the Beavers.
MONTEZUMA CREEK, Utah-Braxton Hansen threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Milford Tigers shellacked Whitehorse 52-7 in non-region football play Friday. Tayon Blackburn, Crew Griffiths and Cutler Netto also ran for scores in the win for Milford.

EPHRAIM, Utah-Grady Anderson threw four touchdown passes and the Kanab Cowboys pounded Emery 47-13 Friday at the Rural Football Preview at Robert Stoddard Field at Terry Foote Stadium on the campus of Snow College. Ajay Thomas threw a touchdown pass and ran for a score in defeat for the Spartans.
EPHRAIM, Utah-Carter Bell ran for three scores and the Grantsville Cowboys overpowered San Juan 30-20 at the Rural Football Preview Friday at Robert Stoddard Field at Terry Foote Stadium. Beau Yeomans tossed a pair of touchdown passes in the loss for the Broncos.

JUNCTION, Utah-Cody Schnabel drove in five runs and the Piute Thunderbirds smacked Tintic 18-1 in non-region baseball play Friday.
PANGUITCH, Utah-Tayze Barney drove in four runs and the Panguitch Bobcats overpowered American Heritage 11-1 Friday in non-region baseball play. Hudson Burningham netted six strikeouts in 2.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bobcats. Lorenzo Gordon drove in a run in the loss for the Patriots.
BICKNELL, Utah-Harrison Lounsbury, Tristian Fisher and Dominic Jackson drove in three runs apiece and the Altamont Longhorns stonewalled Wayne 24-10 in non-region baseball play Friday. Bowen Pace, R.J. Pau’u, E.J. Pau’u and Slade Taylor drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Badgers.

BLANDING, Utah-Adelie Douglas, Madison Cox, McKinzee Chidester and Madelyn Bridges each scored and the Manti Templars blanked San Juan 4-0 in non-region girls soccer play Friday. Averie Jo Robbins recorded the shutout in the net for the Templars.
