(Layton, UT) — The president of the Utah Senate is threatening to sue his critics. Senator Stuart Adams of Layton says critics, including the state auditor, must correct their statements or he’ll sue for defamation. Adams lost his GOP primary race back in June. He claims State Auditor Tina Cannon made false statements about him on the God and Country Podcast. He believes two podcast hosts also made false statements. Cannon responded by saying she won’t be bullied and she hopes Adams does sue so he can answer her questions under oath.
