Widemouth 2 Fire Explodes Past 68,000 Acres

(Fillmore, UT) — The Widemouth Two Fire is continuing to explode in Millard County, prompting additional evacuation orders as firefighters battle extreme conditions. Officials say the wildfire has now burned more than 68-thousand acres and remains zero-percent contained. Governor Spencer Cox says crews are facing catastrophic fire conditions, while 40 state inmates were relocated from the Millard County Jail as a precaution. Officials say more than 100 cattle have been killed, but no homes or other structures have been lost.
