(Salt Lake City, UT) — A pair of firefighters killed in a crash en route to the Widemouth 2 Fire are being honored. A procession was held Friday morning at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Taylorsville, escorting the bodies of Chris Andersen and Miles Elliott to the Salt Lake City International Airport. Elliot of Porterville, California was the pilot of the Sikorsky Skycrane that went down near Richfield with Christopher Andersen of Iowa on board. They are being returned to their homes and their final resting places. Governor Spencer Cox ordered flags statewide to half-staff until both men are interred.
