OREM, Utah-In news from Sunday evening, Utah Valley University head men’s basketball coach Mark Madsen confirmed the signing of Timpanogos High School guard Jackson Holcombe.

A 6-6 200-pound point guard, Holcombe averaged 20.6 points and 7.6 rebounds for the Wolverines last season while making 21 3-pointers for the Timberwolves.

His attainments earned him all-state honors while Madsen called Holcombe “a force to be reckoned with on the court.”

Holcombe will serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints before enrolling at UVU during the 2023-24 season.
