Wildfire In Millard County

A wildfire in Millard County caused some residents to lose power yesterday. According to Utah Fire Info, the Wild Horse Fire ignited Southwest of Leamington. As of this morning it has burned over 1500 acres and is 25 percent contained. Some powerlines were de-energized for firefighter safety but have since been re-energized safely. No structures are imminently threatened and there are currently no evacuations. Road closures are in effect for Leamington Pass and Fool Creek Roads.
