LOGAN, Utah-Friday, Utah State men’s basketball added a new game to their 2021-22 non-conference schedule.

The Aggies will meet perennial NCAA Tournament squad Iowa December 18 at the Sanford Pentagon of Sioux Falls, S.D.

The Hawkeyes are coming off of a 22-9 season which saw them advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Aggies head coach Ryan Odom called this “a great experience for our players and Aggie fans.”

This commemorates the fourth time Utah State and Iowa have met on the hardwood.

The Hawkeyes lead the series 2-1 with the Aggies winning the most recent meeting, a 75-62 victory at the South Padre Island Invitational of South Padre Island, Texas.
