DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.-Per Tuesday news, the University of Utah’s men’s basketball squad will compete at the Sunshine Slam November 20 and 21 at the Ocean Center of Daytona Beach, Fla.
The Utes will be joined at the event by Boston College, Rhode Island and Tulsa.
Utah will host Bethune-Cookman November 15 at the Huntsman Center as part of this event before heading to Florida.
The Utes face Boston College November 20. This will be the fourth all-time meeting between the two programs. Utah leads the Eagles 2-1 all-time. All of the matchups have occurred at neutral sites.
The most recent matchup occurred in the 2004 NCAA Tournament when the Eagles prevailed 59-51 at Milwaukee, Wis.
The Utes will face either the Rams or the Golden Hurricane November 21 depending on the outcome of their game against Boston College and the results of the Rhode Island-Tulsa game.
Utah is 5-2 against Tulsa all-time. The Utes won the most recent matchup, prevailing 69-64 over the Golden Hurricane in 2018 at the Huntsman Center.
The Utes and Rams are tied 2-2 all-time. Their most recent matchup occurred December 9, 2006 at Kingston, R.I. as the Rams edged Utah 85-84.
