CEDAR CITY, Utah-Tuesday, Southern Utah University men’s basketball announced the signing of Malik Muhammad ahead of the 2021-22 season.

Muhammad is a 6-9  transfer from Central Michigan who posted 5.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 19 games for the Chippewas last season.

The native of Harbor City, Calif. transferred to CMU from East Los Angeles College as he played his first two seasons for the Huskies.

While at ELAC, Muhammad earned South Coast Conference All-Conference First Team honors, averaging 9.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in the 2019-20 season.
