Snow Football Sweeps League Awards

(EPHRAIM, Utah) — The Snow College football team swept this week’s Western States Football League player of the week honors.  After the teams 66-6 crushing of Glendale on the road last Saturday, running back Jaylen Warren earned offensive player of the week honors, while defensive end Parker Workman took the defensive award and return specialist Leon Morgan garnered the special teams designation.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jaylen Warren, Snow College, RB, SO; 13 carries for 217 yards 2 TDs, 2 catches for 26 yards. Warren totaled 243 yards of total offense and averaged 16.7 yards per carry. His longest run was 55 yards as No. 8 Snow College beat Glendale Community College 66-6 on the road.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Parker Workman, Snow College, DE, SO; 5 tackles (3 solo), 3.5 TFL for 14 yards, 1 sack for 6 yards. Workman also had 1 fumble recovery, 1 PBU, 1 blocked PAT and 1 QBH in Snow’s win at Glendale Community College.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Leon Morgan, Snow College, RS/DB, SO; 6 punt returns for 150 yards (25 yard average), 1 TD. He scored on a 77-yard punt return in Snow’s win at Glendale CC.
