LOGAN, Utah-Wednesday, Utah State senior kick returner Savon Scarver was named as a preseason All-American by college football guru Phil Steele in his season preview publication.
Fourteen other Aggies were named as preseason All-Mountain West Conference selections by Steele and Athlon Sports.
For his career, the speedster out of Las Vegas has returned six kicks for scores and averaged 28.7 yards per return.
Additionally, Scarver was named as a first-team All-Mountain West Conference selection by both Steele’s publication and Athlon Sports.

The Aggies commence the 2021 season September at Washington State. Tuesday news revealed that the Cougars are going to allow 100 percent capacity at Martin Stadium of Pullman, Wash. Therefore, the Aggies look to face a full house in their opening game of the season.
