TROPIC, Utah-Clay Gray homered and the Bryce Valley Mustangs routed Pinnacle 22-5 Wednesday in 1A South baseball play. Gerardo Lopez netted five strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Bryce Valley. Deklan Guyman and Joshua Cerini drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Panthers.
BICKNELL, Utah-Traiger Ramsay and Kyson Miller drove in three runs apiece and the Panguitch Bobcats routed Wayne 13-2 in 1A South baseball play Wednesday. Ramsay netted 10 strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bobcats. Teegan Flanagan drove in a run in the loss for the Badgers.

GREEN RIVER, Utah-Nora Barragan and Elizabeth Argomaniz recorded four kills apiece and the Green River Pirates blanked Bryce Valley 3-0 in non-region volleyball play Wednesday. The Pirates prevailed 25-14, 25-12, 25-18 to vanquish the Mustangs in straight sets.
