DELTA, Utah-The Delta Rabbits broke open a close game with a key 23-15 surge in the 4th Quarter to surge past Millard 71-61 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action at the Palladium. Trevor Burton filled up the stat sheet for the Rabbits with 19 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds while Brett Roundy posted 16 points and 15 rebounds on 6-7 shooting from the field. In defeat, Jaxon Wardle posted a game-high 22 points for the Eagles. With the win, the Rabbits improved to 8-4 on the season while in defeat, the Eagles slumped to 4-8.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Easton Gordon netted 12 points and the Emery Spartans pounded Richfield 47-33 in Region 15 boys basketball action Wednesday. Emmitt Hafe had 9 points in the loss for the Wildcats.
NEPHI, Utah-Raiden Gould posted 13 points and the Juab Wasps got past Gunnison 45-40 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action. Wyatt Young’s game-high 19 points paced the Bulldogs in defeat.
MONROE, Utah-Brodee Tebbs posted 21 points as the South Sevier Rams decimated North Sanpete 92-42 in Region 15 boys basketball action Wednesday. Spencer Steadman and Wyatt Ison had 8 points apiece in the loss for the Hawks.

MILFORD, Utah-Elena Yee posted 22 points and 7 rebounds as the Milford Tigers gashed Valley 51-35 Wednesday in non-region girls basketball action. Paige Harris had 8 points in the loss for the Buffaloes.
