Governor Orders Utah Flags To Be Lowered Following Death Of Colin Powell

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Flags in Utah will be lowered to half-staff to honor former Secretary of State Colin Powell. Governor Cox ordered flags on all state facilities to be lowered through sunset on Friday. It also encouraged private citizens and businesses to join in the salute to Powell. Powell’s family announced yesterday that the 84-year-old had died from complications related to COVID-19.
