(Kane County, UT) — Another ramp is opening for boaters looking to visit Lake Powell. Glen Canyon National Recreation Area says the Bullfrog Main Ramp on the north side of the reservoir has opened thanks to snowpack runoff. Officials explained the reservoir has gone up more than 20 feet since late April, allowing for the ramp to open and provide relief to the Bullfrog North Ramp. State officials said Lake Powell is at roughly 39-percent capacity and could see a rise of several more feet by next month.
