Gunnison Prison Closed To Visitors Following Assault On Guard

The Central Utah Correction Facility in Gunnison is closed to visitors Thursday after reports of an inmate attacking a guard. Corrections officials say the attack happened Wednesday and prompted a lockdown at the prison. No details about the attack have been released, but the guard is expected to recover.
