A retired educator from Gunnison was presented with the Yule Candle this past week. Stella Hill was presented with the honor at the Gunnison Middle School Yule Service Recognition Concert.

Prior to retiring in 2016, Hill taught in the South Sanpete School District for 35 years. Her service included coaching championship speech teams and co-directing 14 middle-school musicals. She currently serves on the Gunnison City Council.
