LOGAN, Utah-Tuesday, Utah State men’s basketball head coach Ryan Odom announced the signing of Dutch national Norbert Thelissen.

Thelissen originally signed with the University of Utah but the 6-7 forward has since changed his mind.

He will be a collegiate freshman and has previous experience with Heroes Den Bosch of s’Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.

Thelissen also represented the Netherlands at the Division B FIBA U 20 European Championships in Portugal during the summer of 2019.

At this tournament, he averaged 11.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest.
