Robinson Defense And Prosecution Debate Preliminary Hearing

(Provo, UT) — Defense lawyers for Tyler Robinson are battling with prosecutors over the timing of the preliminary hearing. Robinson’s lawyers want prosecutors held in contempt for comments they made to the media. In turn, the Utah County Attorney’s Office says they only spoke to the media because of misinformation about the bullet that killed Charlie Kirk. Robinson is accused of firing that bullet at Utah Valley University. Prosecutors say they have enough evidence for the preliminary hearing even if they don’t use the bullet evidence. The controversy started when federal experts could not definitely link the bullet to Robinson’s gun. However, prosecutors say the Feds could not rule the bullet in and they could not rule the bullet out.
