RICHFIELD, Utah-Tucker Chappell recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds on 5-7 from the field and the No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats overpowered No. 4 Tabiona 46-36 at the Sevier Valley Center Friday in the state semifinals. Logan Rhoades’ game-high 17 points on 8-14 from the field led the Tigers in defeat. Panguitch next plays for a 1A state championship Saturday at 6:30 pm against No. 3 Piute at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kole Westwood’s 15 points and 16 rebounds led the way and the No. 3 Piute Thunderbirds dismantled No. 7 Wendover 55-39 in the state semifinals Friday at the Sevier Valley Center. Tre Tangaro had 11 points on 4-4 from the field in the loss for the Wildcats.
One-Loss Bracket @ SVC
RICHFIELD, Utah-Carson Muirbrook netted 18 points and 14 rebounds and the No. 9 Rich Rebels downed No. 5 Milford 63-55 Friday in the one-loss bracket at the Sevier Valley Center. Trey Rose posted 22 points and 8 rebounds in the loss for the Tigers. The Rebels next face No. 2 Manila Saturday at 11:30 am for 5th place at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Tuck Davis posted 17 points and 5 rebounds on 7-11 from the field and the No. 2 Manila Mustangs downed No. 6 Valley 51-42, ending the Buffaloes’ season Friday in the one-loss bracket at the Sevier Valley Center. MaCoy Harris posted 19 points and 4 rebounds in the loss for the Buffaloes.
Consolation Bracket @ Richfield High School
RICHFIELD, Utah-Easton Young’s 15 points led the way and the No. 11 Monticello Buckaroos downed No. 10 Pinnacle 46-44 Friday in the consolation bracket at Richfield High School. Cole Barton’s 12 points led the Panthers in the loss. Monticello next plays No. 13 Bryce Valley for 6th place Saturday at 11:30 am at Richfield High School.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Andee VanDyke posted 14 points and 7 rebounds on 5-10 from the field and the No. 4 Wayne Badgers upset No. 1 Rich 41-31 Friday in the 1A state semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Haydee Pugmire had 10 points on 4-8 from the field in the loss for the Rebels. Wayne next plays for a 1A state championship Saturday at 4:30 pm at the Sevier Valley Center against No. 7 Tabiona.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Laynie Bagley netted 15 points and 8 rebounds on 6-11 from the field and the No. 7 Tabiona Tigers downed No. 3 Valley 68-55 Friday at the Sevier Valley Center in the 1A state semifinals. Janni Hoyt’s 24 points led the Buffaloes in defeat. Valley next plays No. 1 Rich for 3rd place Saturday at 1:00 pm at the Sevier Valley Center.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Kaycee Gleave’s 12 points and 9 rebounds led the way and the No. 6 Piute Thunderbirds outlasted No. 2 Wendover 27-26 in the one-loss bracket at the Sevier Valley Center Friday. Millie Hicks had 7 points and 16 rebounds in the loss for the Wildcats. Piute next faces No.5 Monument Valley Saturday at 10:00 am for 5th place at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Alyah Blackwater’s 9 points and 6 rebounds paced No. 5 Monument Valley to a 41-33 win over No. 8 Panguitch at the Sevier Valley Center Friday in the one-loss bracket. Alexis Allen’s 10 points and 6 rebounds led the Bobcats in the loss.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Holly Mathews posted 14 points and the No. 10 Bryce Valley Mustangs gashed No. 11 Escalante 42-25 Friday in the consolation bracket at Richfield High School. Nadia Griffin and Mazee Dunton had 9 points apiece in the loss for the Moquis. Bryce Valley next plays No. 9 Manila at 10:00 am Saturday at Richfield High School for 6th place.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The No. 9 Manila Mustangs ended No. 13 Whitehorse’s season with a 58-52 win Friday in the consolation bracket at Richfield High School.
