PANGUITCH, Utah-The No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats achieved the Region 20 tournament title with a 56-38 win over No. 2 Piute Saturday at the Region 20 Tournament at Panguitch High School.
3rd-4th Place Game
PANGUITCH, Utah-Trey Rose led the way with 24 points and the No. 4 Milford Tigers downed No. 6 Bryce Valley 55-51 to secure third place at the Region 20 Tournament Saturday at Panguitch High School.
5th-6th Place Game
PANGUITCH, Utah-Ryker Peterson netted 23 points on 8-12 from the field and the No. 5 Wayne Badgers dismantled No. 3 Valley 54-38 at Panguitch High School Saturday to achieve 5th place at the Region 20 tournament.
7th-8th Place Game
PANGUITCH, Utah-The No. 7 Water Canyon Wildcats took 7th place Saturday at Panguitch High School to achieve 7th place at the Region 20 Tournament. Kendal Gardner had 12 points in defeat for the Moquis.

3A 2nd Round State Tournament
NEPHI, Utah-Kate Smith’s 20 points led the way and the No. 12 Delta Rabbits downed No. 5 Juab 51-47 in the 2nd round of the 3A state tournament Saturday at Juab High School. Avia Stowell’s 14 points and 8 rebounds on 6-9 from the field led the Wasps in defeat. The Rabbits next face No. 4 Carbon Thursday at 9:10 pm in the state quarterfinals at Southern Utah University.
PRICE, Utah-Madi Orth posted 18 points and the No. 4 Carbon Dinos overpowered No. 13 Summit Academy 62-48 Saturday at Carbon High School in the 2nd round of the 3A state tournament. Olivia Backus had 24 points in the loss for the Bears.
GRANTSVILLE, Utah-Baylee Lowder netted 21 points and 4 rebounds and the No. 1 Grantsville Lady Cowboys clobbered No. 16 ALA 69-32 in the 2nd round of the 3A tournament Saturday at Grantsville High School. Tiffany Tervort had 14 points for the Eagles in the loss. Grantsville next faces No. 1 Judge Thursday at 7:30 pm in the state quarterfinals at Southern Utah University.
SALT LAKE CITY-Elyah Ocampo’s 15 points led the way and the No. 8 Judge Memorial Bulldogs downed No. 9 Emery 55-51 Saturday at Judge Memorial High School in the 2nd round of the 3A Tournament. Karleigh Stilson and Makaila Peacock had 13 points apiece in the loss for the Spartans.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kamryn Knutson netted 18 points and the No. 2 Richfield Wildcats hammered No. 15 Juan Diego 64-42 in the 2nd round of the 3A Tournament Saturday. Alynn Crooms had 11 points in the loss for the Soaring Eagle. Richfield next draws No. 7 Canyon View in the state quarterfinals Thursday at 5:50 pm at Southern Utah University.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Bethanee Vargas, Maylee Spencer and Kambree Potter had 16 points apiece and the No. 7 Canyon View Falcons routed No. 10 Manti 83-49 Saturday in the 2nd round of the 3A Tournament. Charlee Mandel’s game-high 20 points led the Templars in defeat.
MORGAN, Utah-Liv Jaffa recorded 21 points and the No. 3 Morgan Trojans decimated No. 14 Ben Lomond 73-36 in the 2nd round of the 3A Tournament Saturday at Morgan High School. Ofa Arreguin had 9 points in the loss for the Scots. The Trojans next face No. 6 Layton Christian in the state quarterfinals Thursday at Southern Utah University at 4:10 pm.
LAYTON, Utah-Marcella Leite posted 14 points and the No. 6 Layton Christian Eagles bested No. 11 Ogden 53-43 at Layton Christian Academy Saturday in the 2nd round of the 3A state tournament. Ellie Oliverson and Ashley Christensen had 13 points apiece for the Tigers in defeat.

SALINA, Utah-Trey Torgerson netted 29 points and the No. 5 North Sevier Wolves pounded No. 12 Rockwell 69-30 Saturday in the 2nd round of the 2A state tournament at North Sevier High School. Jessica Smith had 12 points in the loss for the Marshals. North Sevier next faces No. 4 Draper APA Thursday at 9:10 pm in the state quarterfinals at Salt Lake Community College.
DRAPER, Utah-Samantha Kartchner led the way with 18 points and the No. 4 Draper APA Eagles decimated No. 13 St. Joseph 65-13 Saturday in the 2nd round of the 2A State tournament. Lizzie Randal had 6 points for the Jayhawks in the loss.
BEAVER, Utah-Talia Alisa posted 17 points and the No. 1 Beaver Beavers hammered No. 17 Maeser 71-7 in the 2nd round of the 2A state tournament Saturday. Angie Capella’s 5 points led the Lions in defeat. Beaver next faces No. 9 Duchesne in the state quarterfinals Thursday at 7:30 pm at Salt Lake Community College.
AMERICAN FORK, Utah-Kelsey Grant netted 18 points and the No. 9 Duchesne Eagles downed No. 8 American Heritage 55-51 Saturday in the 2nd round of the 2A state tournament. Holly Brockbank had 14 points in the loss for the Patriots.
COALVILLE, Utah-Chezlie Langston amassed 17 points and 14 rebounds and the No. 2 North Summit Braves surged past No. 15 San Juan 64-45 in the 2nd round of the 2A state tournament Saturday. Serina Yanito and Kaeah Howard had 13 points apiece in the loss for the Broncos. North Summit next faces No. 10 Millard Thursday in the state quarterfinals at 5:50 pm at Salt Lake Community College.
MONROE, Utah-Maia Leatham had 24 points and the No. 10 Millard Eagles upset No. 7 South Sevier 49-48 Saturday in the 2nd round of the 2A state tournament. Sydnee Patterson had 12 points in the loss for the Rams.
KANAB, Utah-Rylee Little posted 20 points and the No. 3 Kanab Lady Cowboys pounded No. 19 Waterford 66-32 in the 2nd round of the 2A state tournament Saturday. Anne Howard had 10 points in defeat for the Ravens. Kanab next faces No. 6 Parowan Thursday at 4:10 pm in the state quarterfinals at Salt Lake Community College.
PAROWAN, Utah-Bella Robinson netted 19 points and the No. 6 Parowan Rams downed No. 11 Enterprise 53-45 Saturday in the 2nd round of the 2A state tournament. Blakelee Christiansen had 11 points in defeat for the Wolves.

PANGUITCH, Utah-The No. 5 Bryce Valley Mustangs stonewalled No. 7 Milford 53-35 Saturday to take 5th place at the Region 20 Tournament at Panguitch High School.
7th-8th Place Game
PANGUITCH, Utah-The No. 6 Escalante Moquis downed No. 8 Water Canyon 47-19, taking 7th place at the Region 20 Tournament Saturday at Panguitch High School.
