Steve Hodson Cancer Classic @ Canyon View High School

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Jay Jay Davey netted 17 points and the Dixie Flyers stonewalled Panguitch 69-56 Saturday at the Steve Hodson Cancer Classic at Canyon View High School. Daxton Miller’s 23 points and 10 rebounds led the Bobcats in the loss.

Beaver County Winter Classic 

BEAVER, Utah-Deegan Blackner posted 11 points and the Beaver Beavers routed Altamont 60-27 Saturday at the Beaver County Winter Classic at Beaver High School.

BEAVER, Utah-Sadler Barnes stepped up with 23 points and 10 rebounds and the Milford Tigers smacked Rockwell 76-53 at Beaver High School Saturday at the Beaver County Winter Classic. Elias Sekona led the Marshals in defeat with 14 points.

Kanab Cowboys Classic @ Kanab High School

KANAB, Utah-Jace Cox posted 30 points and the Valley Buffalos pounded Gunnison Valley 69-55 Saturday at the Kanab Cowboys Classic. Braxton Pickett led the Bulldogs in the loss with 21 points.

KANAB, Utah-Jace Cox stepped up with 19 points and the Valley Buffalos bested the El Capitan (Ariz.) Eagles 76-64 at the Kanab Cowboys Classic Saturday.

KANAB, Utah-Kale Glover netted 16 points and the Kanab Cowboys bested Class 4A Stansbury 73-60 at the Kanab Cowboys Classic Saturday. Will Stephens led the Stallions in the loss with 28 points.

KANAB, Utah-Will Myers recorded 16 points and the Piute Thunderbirds edged El Capitan (Ariz.) 66-63 Saturday at the Kanab Cowboys Classic.

Non-Region

PRICE, Utah-Blake Peterson recorded 22 points and 7 rebounds and the Wayne Badgers clobbered Pinnacle 66-25 Saturday in non-region boys basketball play.

PROVO, Utah-The Provo Bulldogs got past Manti 52-46 Saturday in non-region boys basketball play.

Girls Basketball

Hodson Cancer Classic @ Canyon View High School

CEDAR CITY, Utah-The Canyon View Falcons bested South Sevier 52-44 Saturday at the Hodson Cancer Classic at Canyon View High School.

Non-Region

SALINA, Utah-Jessica Larsen and Andelyn Dewey posted 11 points apiece and the Manti Templars waxed North Sevier 64-47 Saturday in non-region girls basketball play. Saige Jensen led the Wolves in defeat with 11 points.

TABIONA, Utah-Maycee Rhoades netted 22 points and the Tabiona Tigers edged Wayne 60-57 in non-region girls basketball play Saturday. AJ VanDyke led the Badgers with 14 points in the loss.

DUCHESNE, Utah-Chezney Farnsworth led the way with 15 points and the Duchesne Eagles smacked Panguitch 44-26 Saturday in non-region girls basketball play. Tayt Miller and Mallory Henrie had 6 points apiece in the loss for the Bobcats.
