Three new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the Central Utah Health District on Apr. 22.
Of the three new cases two are in Juab County and one is in Sanpete County. According to Nate Selin, health director at the Central Utah Public Health Department, all three cases are in isolation and recovering at home.
Selin stated that “contact tracing has been completed for all three cases with all contacts quarantining at home and monitoring for symptoms.
All three cases were exposed through contact with other individuals confirmed to have COVID-19. One within the Central Utah Health District and the other two from individuals outside of the district.
As of Apr. 23 765 people have been tested in the Central Utah Health District with 21 positive cases, 7 have recovered.
