An accident in Ephraim Saturday evening, May 23, sent a 7-year old child to the hospital.  The child, not a resident of Ephraim, was riding a bike at approximately 300 North and 200 East, rode in front of a truck and was struck.  The child was not wearing a helmet at the time and sustained multiple injuries.  EMTs and police quickly responded and stabilized the child for transport by Air Med to Primary Children’s Hospital where subsequent reports indicate the child is receiving treatment.
