OREM, Utah-Thursday, Utah Valley men’s basketball head coach Todd Phillips announced the promotion of Seena Namdar to director of recuriting for the Wolverines for the upcoming season.
Namdar moves into this role after spending the two previous years as a graduate assistant on Phillips’ staff.
During Namdar’s time on the staff, the Wolverines have posted a record of 50-18, including a 29-5 mark in WAC competition.
A native of Sandy, Utah, Namdar starred at Alta High School and played collegiately at Colorado Northwestern Community College of Rangley, Colo.
Namdar’s new position comes as the Wolverines prepare for their first season of competition in the Big West Conference.
