TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-Wednesday, Utah senior wide receiver Braden Pegan was named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List.
This award is annually bestowed upon the top receiver in college football and is named in honor of the former Florida State All-American receiver Fred Biletnikoff who also became a Hall of Famer with the Oakland Raiders in the NFL.
Last season at Utah State, Pegan recorded 60 receptions for 926 yards and five scores.
The native of San Juan Capistrano, Calif. is the only Utah collegian to be named to this watch list. Pegan and his Utah teammates start the season August 27 by hosting Idaho at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
