CLEVELAND-Per a Wednesday report, former BYU star signal-caller Zach Wilson has been invited to the green room at the NFL Draft April 29-May 1 at Cleveland.
Wilson has been afforded a privilege reserved for those whom the NFL believes will go highly in the annual collegiate draft.

Wilson is the first former BYU student-athlete to be in the green room since 2013 when Ziggy Ansah was drafted No. 5 overall by the Detroit Lions.
If Wilson is drafted No. 2 overall by the New York Jets, as many presume, he would make program history.
Ansah and former NFL journeyman signal-caller Jim McMahon each went No. 5 overall. McMahon did so in 1982 when he was selected by the Chicago Bears.
Projected No. 1 overall selection, Trevor Lawrence, a quarterback out of Clemson, declined the invitation to attend the draft.
Other potential draft picks to be invited to the green room include
-Alabama quarterback Mac Jones
-North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance
-LSU receiver Ja’Marr Chase
-Alabama receiver Devonta Smith
-Florida tight end Kyle Pitts
-Alabama defensive lineman Christian Barmore
-Miami (Fla.) EDGE Gregory Rousseau
-Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons
-Virginia Tech cornerback Caleb Farley
-Alabama cornerback Patrick Surtain II
