KANSAS CITY, Mo./INDIANAPOLIS-Tuesday, Utah junior small forward Timmy Allen received United States Basketball Writers Association All-District and first National Association of Basketball Coaches honors.
He received USBWA honors for the second time and NABC honors for the first time.
Allen posted 17.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game for the 12-13 (8-11 in Pac-12 play) Utes this season.
The 6-6 204-pound native of Mesa, Ariz. is only one of seven players in Division I, per basketball- reference.com, to average at least 17 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
Weber State senior guard Isiah Brown also received first team honors on both of these teams.
The durable Seattle native started all 23 games for the 17-6 (12-3 in Big Sky Conference play) Wildcats.
Brown averaged 17.7 points and 3.5 rebounds for the Wildcats.
