SALT LAKE CITY-University of Utah football obtained a No. 14 ranking in the first USA Today/Coaches poll of the season Monday.
The Utes were recently invited to the new-look Big 12 Conference this past weekend and are coming off a 10-4 record.
Defending national champion Georgia has retained its No. 1 ranking in this poll. The poll is as follows:
