Thursday, the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame announced its Top 10 finalists players of the year class for 2023, which includes a pair of Utah Utes.
Representing the University of Utah is junior defensive end Jonah Elliss (12 sacks, six tackles for a loss) and sophomore tailback/safety Sione Vaki (520 scrimmage yards, 5 net TD’s; 2 sacks, 8.5 tackles for a loss).

UCLA senior defensive lineman Laiatu Latu (13 sacks, 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles)
California sophomore tailback Jaydn Ott (1,401 scrimmage yards, 13 net touchdowns)
Arizona sophomore receiver Tetairoa McMillan (80 rec, 1,242 yards, 10 TD receptions)
Kansas senior offensive lineman Dominick Puni
Maryland senior quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa (completed 66.4 percent of his passes, 3,377 yards, 25 touchdowns/11 interceptions)
Ohio State junior defensive end/defensive lineman J.T. Tuimoloau (4 sacks, 6 tackles for a loss).
