CEDAR CITY, Utah-Thursday, Southern Utah University men’s basketball head coach Todd Simon announced the Thunderbirds signed one of the brightest stars in Nevada high school basketball.

The 6-6, Anthony Swift, who is entering his senior season at Desert Pines High School of Las Vegas, averaged 20.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game this past season for the Jaguars.
Simon expressed his appreciation for the Swift signing, citing his versatility and competitiveness. Simon confirmed that Swift has been well-coached and can make an immediate impact at SUU.
