CEDAR CITY, Utah-Monday, Southern Utah University men’s basketball head coach Todd Simon announced changes to his staff ahead of the new season.
The additions are Aerick Sanders, Bryce Martin, Jonathan Wills and German Srulovich.
Sanders previously served as an assistant coach at New Mexico State (2013-2017) and most recently was at Las Vegas-based Sanders Sports Academy.
Sanders played collegiately at San Diego State and earned a bachelor’s in political science in 2006.
He has played professionally overseas in Turkey, Spain, France, Israel, Latvia and Portugal.
He earned a Master’s in education from New Mexico State in 2019.
Martin was previously the T-Birds’ director of basketball operations.
He has also served in this role at Santa Clara and San Jose State.
Martin is a graduate of Boise State University. As a student, he served as the head manager for the Broncos’ men’s basketball squad.
Wills has previously served as a graduate assistant at Washington. Prior to that, he was the boys’ head basketball coach at Mayfield High School of Lakewood, Calif.
Wills played collegiately at Fresno State and New Mexico, earning a Bachelor’s from Fresno State in African-American studies and a minor in psychology.
Srulovich has been promoted from special assistant at SUU to director of basketball operations.
Srulovich was an assistant coach at Central Florida for the 2019-20 season.
