Southern Nevada Symmetrically Sweeps Snow Saturday

HENDERSON, Nev.-Saturday, the Southern Nevada Coyotes symmetrically swept Snow in two 9-1 games to conclude a four game Scenic West softball series.

In the first game, Caitlin Covington, Jocelyn Shupp and Liliana Gutierrez each homered for the Coyotes.

Amber Triviso earned the win in the circle for the Coyotes, surrendering only three hits in five innings of work.

Kaylee Lyman had a solo home run in defeat for the Badgers.

In the second game, Covington again went yard in the win for Southern Nevada. Serenity Jackson pitched a 3-hitter in five innings of work to secure the win in the circle for the Coyotes.

Deshani Purcell had an RBI in defeat for the Badgers.

The Badgers fell to 5-16 (3-9 in SWAC play) on the season after dropping all four games in this series.

Snow returns home March 25-26 to host the Colorado Northwestern Spartans in a four game series as conference play ensues for both squads.
