Snow Women’s Volleyball Falls To Iowa Western In National Championship Match

WEST PLAINS, Mo.-Saturday, Iowa Western overpowered Snow 3-1 to earn the National Junior College Athletic Association national championship at West Plains, Mo.

The Reivers prevailed 25-15, 20-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Sophomore Lydia Montague led the Badgers with a match-high 15 kills on 38 attempts, incurring only three errors.

Freshman Kij Strong posted seven kills on 14 attempts with no errors.

Bridgett Talia , Macy Strong and Camden Strain added eight kills apiece for the Badgers. Sophomore Jentry Ison had 21 digs, leading Snow defensively.

Snow concludes this campaign with a 26-3 (.896) record, earning the highest winning percentage under head coach Jeff Reynolds in program history.
