SANPETE COUNTY — Ballots for the June 23 primary election are being mailed to voters beginning June 2. According to the Sanpete County Clerk’s Office, completed ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Voters can return ballots at drop boxes located throughout the county, including 24-hour locations in Ephraim, Gunnison, Manti and Mt. Pleasant. Early in-person voting runs June 15th through the 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the county clerk’s office. Residents can still register to vote online or in person through June 12. Election officials are encouraging voters to cast ballots early to help speed up election-night results.
