HUTCHINSON, Kan.-McCaden Adams recorded 30 points and 5 assists on 10/13 from the floor and 7/9 behind the arc and the No. 9 Snow Badgers routed No. 24 Trinidad State (Colo.) 128-86 Sunday at the Hutchinson Sports Arena in the first round of the NJCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship tournament. The Badgers shot 63 percent (51/81) from the floor in victory. Manning Shareef netted 25 points on 9/16 from the floor and 2/4 behind the arc in the loss for the Trojans. Snow returns to action Tuesday at 11:00 am MDT against the No. 8 Butler (Kan.) Grizzlies in the second round of the tournament.
