EPHRAIM, Utah-Jordan Battle posted 16 points and the No. 16 Salt Lake Community College Bruins got past No. 12 Snow 70-66 Thursday at the Horne Activity Center in SWAC men’s basketball play. Isaac Finlinson had 20 points and 5 assists on 7-11 from the field in the loss for the Badgers. The Bruins improved to 19-3 and 4-2 in SWAC play while Snow fell to 19-3 and 4-2 in SWAC play.

Women’s Basketball

EPHRAIM, Utah-Ines Gnahore posted 23 points and 8 rebounds on 9-12 from the field and the No. 23 Salt Lake Community College Bruins routed Snow 80-62 in SWAC women’s basketball play Thursday at the Horne Activity Center. Maliyah Elliott had 16 points in the loss for the Badgers. SLCC improved to 18-4 and 5-0 in SWAC play in victory. The Badgers fell to 12-10 and 2-4 in SWAC play in defeat.

Western Tournament @ Yuma, Ariz.

YUMA, Ariz.-The Phoenix Bears bested Snow 5-2 Thursday at the Western Tournament on the campus of Arizona Western College. Haddie Hadley and Andrea Sweat drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Badgers.
