Men’s Basketball

EPHRAIM, Utah-Dylan Jones netted 17 points on 5-9 from the field and 4-8 behind the arc as the No. 24 Snow Badgers routed Impact Academy 83-56 Thursday evening at the Horne Activity Center in non-conference men’s basketball play.

Daniel Poelsma’s 17 points on 7-11 from the field led Impact Academy in defeat.

The Badgers improved to 2-0 on the young season and next face Utah Peaks Prep Saturday at 5:00 pm at the Horne Activity Center.

Women’s Volleyball

SWAC Tournament

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah-Haley McUne’s 16 kills led the way and the No. 2 USU-Eastern Utah Eagles outlasted No. 3 Snow 3-2 in the SWAC Tournament semifinals Thursday at the Lifetime Activities Center.

Ashlynn Olsen had 22 kills in defeat for the Badgers.

USU-Eastern Utah will play No. 1 SLCC Friday at 1:00 pm for the SWAC Tournament championship and the automatic bid to the national tournament.
