RANGELY, Colo.-Hayden Franson stepped up with 17 points and 9 rebounds on 6-12 from the field and the Snow Badgers routed Colorado Northwestern 87-63 in SWAC men’s basketball play Saturday. Makail Cotto recorded 17 points on 4-7 from range in the loss for the Spartans.

RANGELY, Colo.-Reagan Yamauchi, Samiana Suguturaga and Emily Evans had 10 points apiece and the Snow Badgers pounded Colorado Northwestern 77-55 Saturday in SWAC women’s basketball play. Carolynn Washington led the Spartans in defeat with 17 points.

Softball

CSN Classic @ Henderson, Nev.

HENDERSON, Nev.-Kaylee Lyman and Bayley Bowers each homered twice and the Snow Badgers improved to 4-1 on the season by dismantling Eastern Arizona 19-8 Saturday at the CSN Classic. Andrea Sweat also went yard in victory for the Badgers. Savannah Clausen homered in the loss for the Gila Monsters.

HENDERSON, Nev.-Tasia Shibuya homered and the Snow Badgers bested Arizona Western 4-1 Saturday at the CSN Classic. Jessie Garcia drove in a run for the Matadors in the loss.
