PRICE, Utah-Maggie Whipple homered and the USU-Eastern Utah Eagles downed Snow 10-6 to complete a SWAC softball doubleheader sweep of the Badgers Friday. Lexi Butterfield earned the win in the circle for the Eagles, posting three strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work. Kiley Mitchell homered in the loss for the Badgers.
PRICE, Utah-Skyler Lauver homered twice and Kiera-Paige Shumway, Graciee Christiansen and Kailey Alas also went yard as the USU-Eastern Utah Eagles overpowered Snow 19-11 in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader Friday. Preslee Christensen posted two strikeouts in 3.2 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for USU-Eastern Utah. Bailey Bowers, August Cowan and Emma Higley each homered in defeat for the Badgers.
