EPHRAIM, Utah-The Snow College women’s softball team will play host to Utah State Eastern in a four-game series on Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, Feb. 29. Friday’s double-header will begin at 1 p.m., and Saturday’s games will begin at 12 noon. The Lady Badgers are 3-6 on the season, having played previously this season at tournaments in Las Vegas and Midland, Texas.

Abigail Barnes leads the Snow roster with a .412 batting average, connecting on seven hits in 17 plate appearances. Mia Fernandes and Mickie Mills both have a team leading two home runs on the season. Briley Young leads the Lady Badgers with a 2.86 ERA over 22 innings of work.

The Lady Eagles enter the weekend series with an overall record of 8-3. The series will mark the Scenic West Conference opener for each team. Games will be played at the Ephraim Sports Park, located 300 North 200 East in Ephraim.
