Kyanna Galvan’s RBI sacrifice fly lifted Southern Nevada to a 10-9 win over Snow in eight innings Friday to conclude the Coyotes’ SWAC doubleheader sweep of the Badgers Friday. Kayley Cole and Taylor Hendricks drove in two runs apiece for Southern Nevada in victory. Emma Higley and Hadlee Walker homered in the loss for Snow.
Jocelyn Shupp and Kylie Sharapan each drove in a run and the Southern Nevada Coyotes downed Snow 4-1 Friday in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader. Laynee Anzalone’s seven strikeouts in seven innings earned her the win in the circle for Southern Nevada.
Kaylee Lyman drove in a run in defeat for the Badgers.
Following the results of Friday’s games, Southern Nevada improved to 25-19 and 17-13 in SWAC play. The Badgers fell to 16-21 and 8-18 in SWAC lay in the loss for the Badgers.
