EPHRAIM, Utah-Taylor Larsen posted 185 all-purpose yards and the Snow Badgers decimated Hohokam (Ariz.) 75-12 Saturday at Terry Foote Stadium.
Larsen hauled in a 38-yard scoring pass from Garrison Beach (9-17, 180 yards, 3 TD’s) while returning a punt 45 yards for another score.
Snow ran for 295 yards while tailbacks Seth Kaelin (12 car, 129 yards, 2 TD’s), Caezar Warren (9 car, 113 yards, 3 TD’s) and Carsen Manookin (3 car, 78 yards, TD) were also solid.
Tejhaun Palmer (3 rec, 85 yards, 2 TD’s) added scoring receptions of 15 and 60 yards for the Badgers, who improved to 5-0.
Robert Fuentes posted 2.5 sacks for the Badgers and Xavier DeLong added 1.5 more sacks for Snow in the victory.
Matthew Purnell completed 17 of 23 passes for 185 yards and a touchdown for the Owls in the loss.
Hohokam consists of various Maricopa County (Ariz.) based junior college football players comprising a team that represents the entirety of the greater Phoenix area.
The 5-0 Badgers return to action Saturday at Ellsworth, Iowa for a 12:00 pm MDT kickoff.
