RICHFIELD, Utah-Monday, Snow College announced the addition of men’s and women’s wrestling programs to the athletic department.

This will take effect during the upcoming fall semester which commences in August 2021. Wrestling competition for Snow College, however will not begin until the fall 2022 semester. Coaches and recruiting will be put in place in 2021.

Athletic director Rob Nielson, who made the announcement, stated Snow College is excited to add these programs to the athletic department, citing the limited opportunities for wrestlers in Utah.

Snow College president Bradley J. Cook confirmed the programs will exist at the Richfield campus as a way to enhance the college experience for those attending in Sevier County.

Home matches will occur at the Sevier Valley Center.

A search for a head coach will commence immediately. More information concerning the wrestling programs will be released as it becomes available.
