Men’s Basketball

EPHRAIM, Utah-Tsotne Tsartsidze netted 13 points and 6 rebounds on 6-8 from the field as the No. 10 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles edged Snow 75-72 Saturday at the Activity Center. The Golden Eagles shot 54 percent for the game while improving to 17-2 on the season and 11-1 in SWAC play. Ross Reeves, Tredyn Christensen and Michael Sheffner had 15 points apiece in defeat for the Badgers, who fell to 11-6 and 6-4 in SWAC play. Snow returns to action Tuesday at Southern Nevada.

Women’s Basketball

EPHRAIM, Utah-Brayli Jenks and Sierra Davis symmetrically posted 14 points apiece on 5-8 shooting from the field as the Southern Idaho Golden Eagles humbled Snow 65-58. Japrix Weaver’s 13 points led the Badgers in defeat. The Golden Eagles improved to 15-4 and 9-3 in SWAC play with the win. The loss dropped Snow to 12-5 and 7-4 in SWAC play.
