Men’s Basketball
EPHRAIM, Utah-Robert Whaley netted 17 points and 5 rebounds on 7-14 from the field as the No. 1 Southern Utah Golden Eagles downed Snow 79-65 Wednesday in Scenic West men’s basketball play at The Horne Activity Center. Chase Potter’s 18 points on 7-14 led the Badgers in the loss. The Golden Eagles improved to 27-0 and 15-0 in SWAC play with the win. The Badgers fell to 16-11 and 7-8 in SWAC play in defeat.
Women’s Basketball
EPHRAIM, Utah-Kennedy Eskelson posted 17 points and 7 rebounds on 6-8 from the field against her former Snow teammates as the No. 4 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles decimated Snow 80-37 at The Horne Activity Center Wednesday in Scenic West women’s basketball play. Samina Suguturaga had 7 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Badgers. The Golden Eagles improved to 25-2 and 14-1 in SWAC play in victory. With the loss, Snow fell to 10-14 and 7-8 in SWAC play.
