Men’s Basketball
PRICE, Utah-Zach Visentin netted 16 points and 10 rebounds on 8-9 from the field and the No. 19 Snow Badgers edged USU-Eastern Utah 66-64 Wednesday in SWAC men’s basketball play. Gbenga Olubi posted 19 points and 8 rebounds in defeat for the Eagles. The Badgers improved to 12-2 and 4-1 in SWAC play with the win. Snow returns to action Saturday by hosting Colorado Northwestern.
Women’s Basketball
PRICE, Utah-Hadley Humpherys led the way with 16 points and 9 rebounds on 7-7 from the field and the USU-Eastern Utah Eagles routed Snow 75-54 Wednesday in SWAC women’s basketball play.
The Eagles shot 53 percent from the field and from range in the win.
Samiana Suguturaga led the Badgers in the loss with 20 points.
Snow fell to 6-8 and 3-2 in SWAC play. The Badgers return to action Saturday by hosting Colorado Northwestern.
