Men’s Basketball

EPHRAIM, Utah-Clayton Southwick posted 22 points and 9 rebounds on 10-14 from the field as the No. 24 Snow Badgers decimated Utah Peaks Prep 117-43 Saturday evening at the Horne Activity Center.

The Badgers shot 53 percent (45-85) from the field in improving to 2-0 on the season.

Jabari Harris netted 15 points on 6-9 from the field in the loss for Utah Peaks Prep.

The Badgers return to action Friday by hosting Jump Start at 7:00 pm at the Horne Activity Center.

Women’s Basketball

EPHRAIM, Utah-Joslin Igo’s 21 points led the way and the No. 13 Casper Thunderbirds stormed past Snow 79-64 at the Horne Activity Center Saturday afternoon.

Logan Alvar added 18 points on 7-10 from the field for the Thunderbirds, who shot 54 percent (30-56) from the field for the game in victory.

Casper improved to 2-o on the season in the win.

Emily Evans netted 19 points on 7-13 from the field and 4-8 behind the arc in the loss for the Badgers, who fell to 1-1 on the season.

Snow returns to action Thursday at 5:30 pm at Thatcher, Ariz. to face Cochise (Ariz.) in the Gila Monster Tournament on the campus of Eastern Arizona College.
