GARDEN CITY, Idaho-Reese Alexiades homered twice and the Ogden Raptors drilled Boise 11-3 Friday at Memorial Stadium in Pioneer League play.
Christian Day earned the win on the mound for the Raptors by posting six strikeouts in five innings of work. This was Day’s first win of the season as he improved to 1-1 for Ogden.
Tyler Jorgensen, Jacob Cruce and Juan Teixeira each drove in a run in the loss for Boise. In defeat, the Hawks fell to 3-6. Ogden improves to 5-3 on the season with the victory.
The Raptors and Hawks return to action Saturday at 7:00 pm at Memorial Stadium.
