OREM, Utah-Utah Valley senior golfer Ana Raga has been selected to represent her home country of Venezuela at the World AM Team Championships in Maynooth, Ireland August 29-September 8 at Carto House Golf Club.

Raga is a two-time All-WAC honoree and this tournament commemorates the second time she has competed at the world championships for Venezuela.

Last season, Raga capped her junior season at UVU by tying for sixth at the 2018 WAC Championship en route to earning first-team All-WAC accolades.

She posted a school-record average of 74.40 last season, as well as six top-10 finishes and nine top-20 ones.

She also carded a program-record 1-over-par 214 at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic last season.
